Hey everyone, Its back
back agian
If you have read my older journals, you will know what Im talking about

I just looked on Behance
and just cried
Im no baby you guys, but it cuts me deep, on how good these artists are
its like
I have no future next to being as good ya know. I dont mean to rant but
idk

I know those guys have been doing it for years
But I REALLY got to thinking about my future today
and idk whats in store for me, good or bad things hmmm
Oh well sorry you guys, I know I had said I was gonna keep movin' foward( I am ) but it just gets me sometimes
If you try too hard, you'll end up running in circles and having all kinds of problems. If you try to be too much like other artists, the only thing you'll succeed in is becoming a professional fan artist. Everyone will say, "Hey, that's cool, but he coped it from 'so-and-so'."
I believed in you a few months ago and I still do, so don't let me down, dammit!!!
Remember, you'll be selling your skills as an artist of any degree...so in essence, you're selling yourself. People love originality and vision not regurgitation. Take Andy Warhol, for instance...people loved his work for it's unique flare, even though it wasn't all that intricate.
You'll get there, man...you just have to invent some brand identity for yourself...you sure as hell have a lot of avenues you can pursue with ease!
Oh and BTW, I looked at that Behance site...you're actually going to tell me with a straight face that you wondered if you are you good enough to post over there? Pah-lease...get those designs uploaded!!!
You have a lot of great pieces to put up there! As far as style, that depends on where in the industry you want to go. Game development, business/advertising design, entertainment/movie FX...when you can answer that question, style will get a lot more clear. You're versatile and skilled enough to do any of those, but the choice is up to you.
I just gotta keep going, and soon enough it'll come to me!
